PIZZA SNOB RATING ****Near Perfection
Sorry that I am a little slow in this one.
As was first reported to me on the pizza-loving Bayonne Facebook page, I recently was back in town and saw for myself that Lorenzo’s Pizza and Pasta had moved. After a brief stay at the old Mario’s Pizza location on Broadway between 15th and 16th Streets, they took a hike uptown to take over the spot once occupied by Ronny’s Pizzeria & Restaurant on Broadway between 29th and 30th.
Like we said about Ronny’s, this seems to the Snob to be a tough spot with the excellent Brothers Pizza & Pasta sitting just a block away, since it wasn’t long before Lorenzo’s shut things down.
Finally, the shuffle further continued with a new place named Pizza Bella moving into the previous Mario’s/Lorenzo’s location.
Looking forward to visiting Pizza Bella on my next visit back to the peninsula!
